What You Will Do
Our Ottawa team is seeking undergraduate business, commerce, accounting, and finance students pursuing their Canadian CPA or CIA designation to join as full-time hires starting in Fall 2026 within our risk services practice .
As part of KPMG’s Governance, Risk & Compliance Services team, you will work with professionals experienced in financial and operational internal auditing, internal controls, risk analytics, risk assessments, IT Risk, and emerging risks to enhance organizational internal control, enterprise risk management, governance, and internal audit capabilities.
You will collaborate with executives, internal audit directors, and audit committees to develop and deliver governance functions that provide strategic business assurance, identify opportunities, and enhance organizational value.
- Assist with GRCS mandates including internal audit, ICFR (52-109/SOX 404), risk management, and other compliance projects.
- Work on client engagements across various industries.
- Communicate your expertise through conversations, emails, and detailed reports.
- Participate in client interviews, document reviews, research, benchmarking, and workshops.
- Contribute to practice initiatives through knowledge sharing and practice management.
- Help develop client engagement plans, process and control documentation, reports, and presentations.
