Geophysicist
Location: Sunset Hills, Missouri or Belleville, Illinois
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Geophysicist to join our Belleville, Illinois office. In this role, you will work under the guidance of our Senior Geophysicist to support a wide range of geophysical investigations, with the majority of work focused on Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits to perform geophysical explorations, field observations, and data collection
- Assist in report writing, survey design, data processing, and interpretation
- Ensure complete, accurate, and reliable results
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on diverse engineering projects
Required Skills/Education/Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Geophysics, Geology, Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Travel will be required
- Valid drivers license in the state of residence
Physical Demands:
- Job will be performed both in the office and outdoors in varied weather conditions. In office requirements will be the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. The fieldwork will require that an individual be able to wear and work in personal protective equipment on occasion.
- Position requires that the individual is able to lift and carry weighted materials (up to approximately 70 pounds) and maneuver large, cumbersome equipment.
- Will require the ability to stand, walk, and sit, talk and hear, both in person and by telephone, use hands to handle objects or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
- This position will regularly require stooping, kneeling, bending, and crouching.
