Internal Job Title: IT Analyst

Context

In the context of transforming and enhancing the IT change enablement practice, the IT Service Management team is seeking an experienced manager to lead the Enterprise CAB (Change Advisory Board). This authority serves as the final IT approval stage before business approval for high-risk changes. The incumbent will play a central role in evaluating, authorizing, and monitoring moderate to high-risk changes, ensuring rigorous coordination and dynamic committee facilitation. They will also have a key role in governance, coordination, and strategic decision-making surrounding major changes.

Role and Responsibilities

As the Enterprise CAB Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Organizing and facilitating weekly Enterprise CAB and TAB meetings, fostering a collaborative, rigorous, and decision-oriented environment.

  • Assessing the quality, consistency, and justification of high-risk changes submitted by sectoral CABs.

  • Deciding on the approval or rejection of changes based on compliance, risk, and IT impact criteria.

  • Steering discussions when needed, managing disagreements, and handling difficult conversations with confidence and diplomacy.

  • Collaborating closely with sectoral CAB managers, technical experts (TAB), change coordinators, and business stakeholders.

  • Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of the change enablement practice, in line with the organization’s ITSM maturity objectives.

  • Participating in the implementation of tracking, accountability, and dashboard mechanisms to ensure transparency and process performance.

  • Managing the operational parameters of the change enablement practice within the ITSM tool (ServiceNow), including configuring and evolving key elements such as maintenance windows, approval rules, and workflows.

Profile Sought

  • Significant experience in IT change management, facilitating decision-making committees, or coordinating cross-functional processes.

  • Strong leadership, ability to mobilize teams, make decisions, and enforce governance rules.

  • Excellent skills in group dynamics, conflict management, and strategic communication.

  • Knowledge of the ITIL framework (ITIL v4 certification is an asset).

  • Proficiency with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) and understanding of CMDB, cross-functional risks, and service stability.

  • Analytical mindset, rigor, autonomy, and political acumen.

  • Advanced English proficiency is required, as the incumbent will be expected to facilitate meetings, read and analyze documents for change approval, perform translations, and collaborate with VPTI partners and colleagues, with English representing approximately 40% of their working time.
