Process Analyst, Audit & Controls
We are seeking a Process Analyst with a background in audit and controls to support a major integration project within the insurance industry . This role is crucial for ensuring regulatory alignment and standardizing processes across the organization following a recent acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Documentation & Mapping: Document and map current and future-state processes to support business integration.
- Internal Controls & Compliance: Assess existing internal controls and update processes to ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) standards.
- Control Recommendations: Recommend and approve new process controls to strengthen the internal control environment.
- Change Management: Support the change management and training teams in implementing new, standardized processes across the organization.
Qualifications
- Experience: Strong knowledge of SOX , internal controls, and process improvement methodologies.
- Technical Skills: Experience with process mapping tools is required.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with audit standards, regulatory requirements, and control frameworks such as COSO .
- Soft Skills: Must have excellent analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Industry Preference: Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is preferred.
