Qualifications:
- Typically, 2-3 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Security, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 2-3 years of IT experience working with Client-Server architecture (Windows/Linux Servers).
- 1-2 years of experience assessing database security controls using manual processes and automated tools (e.g., Imperva, IBM Guardium, Qualys).
- 1-2 years of experience using database activity monitoring tools.
- 1-2 years of experience performing data discovery activities on data repositories using tools such as Imperva, IBM, Symantec, McAfee, Microsoft, Varonis, BigID, with a focus on structured data repositories.
- 1-2 years of experience configuring, managing, and supporting cloud-native DB services (AWS RDS, AWS Dynamo) and on-premises database platforms (Oracle, SQL, DB2, Big Data, Netezza, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Knowledge of data protection regulatory requirements, emerging trends, and issues.
- Knowledge of industry-leading data protection tools and data management practices.
- Comfortable working in an agile, fast-paced environment.
