About The Role
Scotia Global Asset Management (SGAM) is seeking a strategic and driven Senior Manager, Business Initiatives to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with senior leadership to drive key initiatives that support SGAM’s strategic vision and operational excellence. You’ll lead cross-functional projects, enhance business capabilities, and deliver high-impact solutions across our diverse asset management businesses.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and execute strategic business initiatives that improve efficiency and enable new capabilities.
- Collaborate with executive leaders and stakeholders to scope, plan, and deliver projects from concept to completion.
- Support business planning, reporting, communications, and presentation development.
- Prepare executive-level reporting including board packages, business highlights, and performance commentary.
- Manage KPI development and tracking across SGAM.
- Act as a liaison between SGAM and enterprise strategy teams, committees, and internal partners.
- Coordinate executive council meetings and leadership offsites.
- Support real estate portfolio management and broader business planning efforts.
- Champion a high-performance and inclusive work environment.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in financial services, preferably in asset management or related fields.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Experience working with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
