Our company is growing and we’re looking for a Dermatology Nurse (LPN) to join our team at our Winnipeg location.We at SKIN maintain the highest standards of care while helping achieve optimal results for skin health. We combine expert training and experience with the most advanced technology to provide the best in medical care, all delivered in a spa-like atmosphere.We are looking for a medical nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic and experienced team. Successful candidates would be excited to work and grow in an innovative health care team and encompass the following:Responsibilities:
- Prepping tools and surgery kits
- Complete biopsy requisitions, pathology reports, patient requisitions, autoclaving
- Complete treatments under supervision of a Physician (warts, steroid injections, suture removals)
- Assist Physicians in their treatments and surgeries
- Clean rooms after use
- Complete reports
- Maintain client records and ensure confidentiality and accuracy of information.
- Process referrals
- Call patients
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- LPN designation
- Experience in derm nursing or medical dermatology required
- Enthusiasm to contribute to a national organization
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide a high level of customer service.
- Warm, friendly, caring personality
- Known as someone who likes to go above and beyond
- Passion for high quality, comprehensive patient care
