Qualifications
- The candidate should preferably be creative, motivated, a good communicator, detail-focused, and a team player.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, negotiate, and edit asset purchase, stock purchase, and ancillary agreements related to the sale of a company.
- Maintain working knowledge of market terms in small and middle market mergers and acquisitions.
- Keep informed on tax, intellectual property, employment, privacy, and related matters in mergers and acquisitions.
- Advise companies on corporate governance and fiduciary duty matters.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with emerging company clients.
The candidate must be in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
