Position Summary
Reporting to the Director, Finance, the Manager, Finance – Property Management (PM) is responsible for supporting the financial operations of Dixon Hall’s Supportive Housing and Real Estate divisions. The role involves overseeing financial expenditure, reporting, and supporting audits to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Manage budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flows for property operations.
- Monitor financial performance and prepare reports for management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and funding requirements.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee financial transactions such as rent calculations, subsidies, and lease agreements.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain financial integrity.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of finance experience, including 2 years in property management or affordable housing finance.
- Knowledge of RGI housing programs and regulations in Ontario.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Yardi, Excel).
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada and ability to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Screening.
