Wright International Aircraft Maintenance Services Inc, a subsidiary of FL Technics based in Toronto, has been a trusted provider of MRO services in Canada for over 30 years, specializing in line maintenance.
We are looking for a candidate for our location: YYZ.
YOUR TASKS:
- Oversee and ensure accuracy in all nationwide stores operations, including receiving, shipping, storage, and handling.
- Lead and manage a small stores team.
- Update, organize, and assist in implementing the ERP system (BI2).
- Oversee purchasing/procurement, GSE maintenance/inspections/load tests, tooling calibration, and consumable expiry.
- Design and execute a long-term strategy for the stores department, ensuring alignment with maintenance operations and business goals.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (e.g., inventory turnover, availability, cost efficiency) to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide monthly updates to senior management on stores department performance.
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed by all team members, communicating and implementing any changes.
- Promote quality and safety consciousness within the team.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in aviation supply chain management.
- Minimum of 5 years’ leadership experience.
- Proven leadership in driving change, process optimization, and influencing cross-functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of Transport Canada regulations.
- Proven ability to manage a department effectively and achieve organizational results.
- Must possess or be eligible to obtain an RAIC and AVOP.
- Valid G-class driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs safely and regularly.
- Strong computer skills, especially in MS Office and Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and high accuracy standards.
