Job Summary

This role is responsible for leading, managing, coordinating, and implementing daily janitorial services at all store or site locations within the designated area or territory, across multiple customer banners.

The key focus areas include:

  • Customer Experience & Retention
  • Performance of Partners & Cleaners
  • Overall Store Operations (including budgets, profitability, KPI’s)
  • Quality Standards & Audits
  • Training
  • Cost Management
  • Increasing Revenue & Profits per Store and Customer Banners
  • Adherence to Customer Processes, Policies & Guidelines
  • Support to other Area Managers as needed

Planning & Budgeting:

  • Participate in developing and implementing annual plans by customer banners, including schedules, budgets, and sales opportunities.
  • Implement store-level budgets.
  • Develop strategies at store level for sustainability and profitability.

Customer Relationships & Communication:

  • Build strong relationships with customers and partners, ensuring trust and good service.
  • Act as the main contact for communication between United and the store for all services.
  • Address customer concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Support regional management in meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular meetings and reporting on store audits, issues, and compliance.

Internal Communication:

  • Coordinate store-level communication with United Partners.
  • Set expectations, provide training, coaching, and mentoring to Partners.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings with regional and support teams.

Process Compliance:

  • Lead process initiatives at store level, identify trends and gaps.
  • Manage store calibration walks and process adoption in Salesforce.
  • Oversee business management using United technologies.
  • Support operational processes and KPIs, including partner changeovers, material ordering, audits, and safety compliance.

Cost Management & Controls:

  • Manage revenue, costs, budgets, and gross margins at store level.
  • Support operational costing and monitor asset inventory.

Facilitate business transitions and growth through upselling services.

Workforce & Performance Management:

  • Co-lead performance management for Partners.

Recruitment, Training & Development:

  • Support hiring, onboarding, and termination processes.
  • Lead in-store Partner training and development programs.
  • Mentor Partners regularly and monitor performance improvement.

Education/Experience:

– Degree in Business Administration or related field.

– Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the janitorial industry or similar operational environment.

– 3–5 years’ supervisory experience.
