A well-established independent family-practice clinic located in central Saskatoon has been serving the community for over three decades. The clinic provides comprehensive primary care to a diverse urban population and maintains strong connections with community services and secondary-care providers.
Position Overview
- Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00 (no routine evenings or weekends)
- Start Date: As soon as mutually agreeable
The successful candidate will deliver longitudinal family medicine, including preventive care, chronic-disease management, and minor office procedures.
Facilities and Support
- Two dedicated, fully equipped examination rooms plus a private physician office
- On-site diagnostics: spirometry, 12-lead ECG, and Holter monitoring performed by certified technicians
- On-site pharmacy with supportive pharmacists
- Experienced administrative staff handling bookings, billing, records management, and supplies
- Friendly, collegial, and flexible work environment
- Electronic medical record system (Med Access) with remote access and integrated lab results
- Convenient location with ample free staff and patient parking
Remuneration
- Fee-for-service and capitation, incentivized revenue split with full transparency on all billings and overheads
- Overhead of 30% , which improves to 25% if in any 2-week billing cycle, billings exceed $16,000
- Relocation assistance negotiable
Qualifications
- Full or provisional licence (or eligibility) with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan
- Entitlement to practise medicine in Canada (citizenship, permanent residence, or valid work permit)
