On behalf of our Public Service client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst – Senior for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

On behalf of our Public Service client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst – Senior for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
Business Analyst – Senior – Job Description:
This role involves working on a critical digital transformation project within the Ontario Public Service. The project focuses on system specifications and enhancing legacy solutions through new development efforts.
Business Analyst – Senior – Responsibilities:
- Gather and document configuration, functional, and non-functional requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align configuration data with business needs
- Translate business and functional requirements into system specifications
- Elicit business and reporting requirements for various legacy solutions and product streams
- Conduct information sessions with vendors to understand functional and configuration capabilities
- Evaluate business processes and uncover areas for improvement
- Assist project team in solution design and implementation
- Complete all relevant documentation in alignment with OPS standards
- Coordinate end-to-end project management activities with stakeholders
- Work with the architecture team on project gating documentation and requirements
- Perform quality assurance
Business Analyst – Senior – Mandatory Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Iterative Agile methodologies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
- Experience with technical solution design and prototyping tools
- Familiarity with OPS I&IT Processes, Standards, and artifacts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Business Analyst – Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with digital transformation projects
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Background in business analysis within public service sectors
- Knowledge of vendor management
Business Analyst – Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position.
