Interested in joining one of Canada’s top performing asset managers? We are looking for a Head of Salesforce Enablement & CoE to join our Investment Operations team. We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader for our Centre of Excellence (CoE), responsible for Salesforce governance, platform development, and alignment with business strategy. In this high-impact role, you will lead a diverse team of business, technology, and change professionals to enhance solution capabilities in managing client relationships, empowering distribution teams, and delivering data-driven insights. You will act as the accountable lead, managing stakeholders and technology, ensuring Salesforce is leveraged to its full potential in support of our growth and client-centric objectives. Our offices follow a hybrid model with both in-office and remote work.
What You Will Do
You will lead a critical function at the intersection of client engagement, technology, and strategy—shaping how we use Salesforce to compete, grow, and differentiate in an evolving investment landscape. This is a rare opportunity to influence enterprise change and build a lasting platform for success.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & CoE Formation
- Build and lead the Salesforce Centre of Excellence, establishing its mandate, service model, and governance framework.
- Champion Salesforce strategy aligned to investment management distribution models (institutional, high net worth and retail).
- Develop a multi-year Salesforce roadmap that focuses on client experience, distribution intelligence and client facing interfaces like reporting, portals, apps and workflows.
- Serve as the Salesforce Product Owner at the enterprise level, driving platform vision, usability, scalability, and integration.
- Oversee platform architecture, configuration standards, and automation design across Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and other Salesforce products, and integrations with third-party tools (e.g., document management, data enrichment, etc.).
- Collaborate with other IT and data teams to ensure Salesforce is seamlessly integrated with the broader data ecosystem (including client master data, fund performance data, and reporting platforms).
- Be at the forefront of the evolution of the Salesforce platform, what is evolving and what is coming next and how it would impact our business.
Business Partnership & Value Creation
- Partner with Sales, Client Service, Marketing, and Product teams to deliver Salesforce enabled capabilities that enhance productivity and deepen client engagement.
- Translate business priorities into platform features – e.g., measuring risk of loss, next best action and enhancing workflows.
- Guide the business in using Salesforce data and dashboards to assist in decision-making, prospecting, and performance measurement.
- Lead adoption initiatives including user enablement, training, communication, and stakeholder engagement across regions and teams.
- Drive change management strategies for Salesforce enhancements, ensuring alignment with regulatory, operational, and cultural considerations in the investment management industry.
- Track adoption metrics and champion a continuous improvement model to evolve the platform and ways of working.
Governance & Risk Management
- Establish Salesforce data stewardship and governance processes in collaboration with Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams to ensure proper handling of client and intermediary data.
- Manage system access, data privacy policies (e.g., GDPR, SEC), and audit-readiness for Salesforce-related processes.
What You Bring
- 10+ years of experience in business technology, digital transformation, or Salesforce leadership roles, with a strong background in investment management or financial services.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, ideally including oversight of complex Salesforce environments and integrations.
- Proven success establishing or leading a Centre of Excellence or similar cross-functional capability in a regulated industry.
- Familiarity with the workflows, stakeholders, and regulatory requirements within institutional and intermediary distribution models.
- Strong experience in stakeholder management, platform governance, and business value realization.
- Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to connect business objectives to technical solutions. While focused on long term objectives, an ability to make incremental change to deliver short term goals.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
- A passion for elevating client experience through technology, data, and collaboration.
