Purpose: The primary purpose of this role is to drive growth in the industrial automation sector by leveraging digital, technology, and autonomous solutions, focusing on operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability in mining operations. This is a full-time hybrid position based in Alberta, Ontario, or British Columbia, Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within industrial automation.
- Foster strategic partnerships and deliver innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage project phases from concept to commissioning.
- Lead proposal development, project planning, and execution.
- Ensure project success through quality, cost management, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Computer Systems Engineering. P.Eng. license preferred.
- Significant experience in control systems projects, especially in mining, LNG, petrochemical, oil & gas, or nuclear industries.
- Hands-on experience with automation development, control system architecture, and major vendors like Honeywell, Emerson, Triconex, etc.
Additional Information: Salary range in British Columbia: CAD $151,181 to $222,325.
