Job Title: Sr. Engineering Tech
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $80K – $120K + annual bonus + holiday bonus
Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO
In partnership with our client, we are seeking a hands-on, data-driven Sr. Engineer Tech to join a stable oil and gas organization. In this role, you’ll manage and analyze large volumes of production and reserve data from thousands of wells, working closely with the engineering team to drive forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain reserve and production databases (Excel, Access)
- Prepare semi-annual reserve reports for partners and lenders
- Analyze pricing, operating expenses, and production trends to identify profitability drivers
- Manage production data for operated and non-operated wells; support regulatory filings
- Assist with gas nominations, allocations, and pipeline imbalance tracking
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in upstream oil & gas (reservoir, production, or engineering)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills; technical or math background preferred
- Advanced Excel skills; Access or reserve software (PHDWin, Aries) a plus
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working across multiple disciplines
