Job Description
What makes you great for this role?
You ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts receivable, payable and related accounting and prepare various financial accounts for accounting closings and in adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) functions of the organization.

You have:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in finance, financial administration and or related field
• Knowledge of accounting principles and taxation practices, with an understanding of financial and administrative policies and procedures
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail oriented with good analytical skills. Ability to establish priorities, organize and complete work accurately and within deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• Maintain current knowledge in accounting principles and continually upgrades technical and professional disciplines by attending internal and external education programs
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
Nice to have:
• Completion of Post-Secondary education in Accounting and Finance
• Completion or in progress accounting designation/diploma or relevant experience
• Proficiency in SAP, or other ERP system
What you will do:
• Verify and ensure all entries, payments, invoices, and other transactions adhere to relevant MPAC policies and procedures
• Ensure transaction approvals adhere to MPAC’s delegation of authority policy, and report irregularities or deviations
• Prepare, process, distribute, and record invoices and customer refunds, write-offs, credit notes, and all other revenue-related entries
