Job Description
Front End Department Managers are responsible for interacting with customers and managing all transactions efficiently and accurately while working with our computerized system. They are also responsible for the daily management of their area, including execution of marketing campaigns, managing inventory, and participating in meetings.
Responsibilities
- Lead the department by demonstrating the highest standards of safety, customer service, and merchandising.
- Communicate information and priorities to associates and ensure they have the direction and tools needed to complete their tasks.
- Manage associate performance through feedback and identify training opportunities.
- Handle associate and customer concerns in a fair and professional manner.
- Oversee cash handling and deposits.
Qualifications
- Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Motivate others through a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate drive and commitment to reach goals.
- Experience in retail sales and supervision is preferred.
- Typical career progression involves managing larger departments before becoming an assistant store manager.
