Job Description
- Lead and develop a team of tax consultants and junior managers, providing supervision, coaching, and mentorship.
- Oversee and execute comprehensive tax compliance, international tax advisory, M&A, and cross-border consulting services for clients.
- Cultivate and sustain robust client relationships, serving as a trusted tax advisor.
- Formulate and implement effective tax strategies for clients, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of all tax-related documentation.
- Drive business development initiatives to identify new opportunities and contribute to the growth of the tax department.
- Maintain current knowledge of evolving tax laws and regulations to provide expert, pragmatic advice.
The Successful Applicant
- A Bachelor’s degree in Tax from a reputable university is essential, along with Brevet A & B certifications.
- 10-12 years of post-qualification experience in international tax consultancy, with a proven track record in M&A consultancy, tax structuring, and tax due diligence, particularly for international clients.
- Experience as a supervising tax consultant and team leader, demonstrating excellent knowledge of both Indonesian and international tax laws.
- Fluency in English, with strong written and oral communication abilities, is required for effective engagement with clients and team members.
- Strong leadership skills, sharp business acumen, and excellent communication skills for engaging with a diverse international client base.
- Hands-on and proactive professional who consistently provides pragmatic tax advice and serves as an inspiring example for junior tax consultants.
