As a Lead Installer, you’ll play an important role in installing signs and graphics, ensuring they are placed correctly and securely in various environments such as ground, walls, vehicles, or ceilings. You’ll use a variety of tools to assemble, erect, and hang items, both inside and out. A fear of heights is not in your vocabulary, as most days involve moving, lifting, and building for sign installations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install various types of signage including vinyl, metal, LED, illuminated signs, and large-format billboards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and technical diagrams for precise installation.
- Safely operate equipment such as lifts and scaffolding to install signs at elevated heights.
- Secure signs to structures like poles, walls, and frameworks using appropriate fasteners and techniques.
- Conduct site assessments to determine the best installation methods, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist in erecting and maintaining billboard structures, including frameworks and support beams.
- Prepare foundations by digging, pouring concrete, and installing support anchors.
- Build and install structural supports, including steel, aluminum, and wooden frames.
Coordinate with internal departments such as sales, design, and production to ensure high-quality installation standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience with signage installation in Canada.
- Experience in installing, repairing, and maintaining various signage, including illuminated signs and banners.
- Proficiency with tools and equipment specific to sign installation, such as lifts, scaffolding, and power tools.
- Ability to read blueprints, site plans, and technical diagrams.
- Physical ability to climb, lift heavy materials, and work at heights.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Computer literacy and familiarity with relevant software.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication with co-workers and customers.
Compensation:
Base Salary: $26 to $32 per hour, depending on experience.
Bonus Program (up to 15% of annual salary).
Extended Health and Dental Benefits
Regular hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Evening and weekend work may be required based on project needs.
