What you’ll be doing :
- Leading operational, technology, and strategic projects that directly impact NAV CANADA’s corporate objectives
- Leading multidisciplinary teams comprised of technical specialists, functional specialists, business subject-matter experts and external stakeholders
- Leading effective project delivery, risk mitigation, financial management, resource planning, and ensuring compliance to policies, processes, and standards
- Establishing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and driving stakeholder engagement to ensure effective project delivery
- Contributing to procurement and vendor management processes
- Participating in process improvement initiatives and developing and rolling out project management methodologies, tools, and techniques; providing mentorship and training in project management.
What you bring to the role :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent, or a combination of experience and education
- Project management qualification (PMP) or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ experience delivering medium to large projects, preferably in a matrixed environment
- Experience leading multiple project teams across departments
- Skills in facilitation, negotiation, and building collaborative relationships
- Experience with financial management, budgeting, estimating, and forecasting
- Experience managing technology, strategic, or operational projects
- Organizational change management experience
- Ability to produce reports on project KPIs including milestones, deliverables, financials, risks, and issues
- Knowledge of industry best practices for waterfall and agile projects, including SAFe
- Proficiency with project management tools like MS Project and Clarity
- Experience estimating and budgeting OPEX and CAPEX
- Understanding of contracting processes (RFI, RFQ, RFP)
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities in dynamic environments
- Technical aptitude for complex projects
- Proven success delivering projects within scope, schedule, and budget
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
- Risk management expertise
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements

Working Conditions
- This position is hybrid, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week on site.
