Senior Consultant – Financial Planning & Analysis
Our client within the agriculture industry is seeking a Senior FP&A Consultant to support their finance team during a critical project phase.
About the Role
This position offers the opportunity to develop and implement robust financial planning methodologies and data analytics to improve forecasting and profitability analysis. The ideal candidate is experienced in financial planning and analysis, capable of navigating a dynamic environment, and providing strategic insights.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with the FP&A team to enhance financial forecasting, reporting, and analysis processes.
- Manage the budgeting cycle, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
- Analyze and improve existing processes.
- Prepare financial reports, including month-end close activities and variance analyses.
- Support the use of financial tools, particularly Vena or similar FP&A software.
- Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative environment.
What You’ll Bring:
- Extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, with proficiency in FP&A tools (e.g., Vena, Hyperion, Adaptive Insights).
- Proven experience supporting financial initiatives, preferably in manufacturing or similar sectors.
- Strong Excel and data modeling skills; ERP familiarity is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Proactive attitude with strong analytical skills.
Additional Information
- Contract duration: 3-4 months, with potential extension.
- Hourly rate: $75-85/hr, depending on experience.
