What is the opportunity?
Lead the development of innovative tools and platforms that enhance developer productivity through Gen AI capabilities. You’ll drive the technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems as part of RBC’s AI Accelerator team, building solutions that empower development teams across one of North America’s largest financial institutions.
What will you do?

Lead full stack development of developer productivity tools integrated with Gen AI capabilities

Design and implement platforms that streamline development workflows and accelerate delivery
-
Collaborate with engineering teams to understand pain points and build solutions that improve their daily work
-
Develop Gen AI-powered features that assist developers in coding, testing, and deployment
-
Coordinate complex application programming activities including coding, testing, debugging, and documentation
-
Mentor team members and establish best practices for full stack development and solution delivery.

Hands-on attitude with a passion for improving developer experience.
What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
-
Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
-
5+ years in full stack development with some leadership experience
-
Proficiency in modern web technologies, API development, cloud platforms, and Gen AI integration
-
Gen AI Focus: Experience with prompt engineering, building MCP servers, and integrating Gen AI capabilities into developer tools
-
Focus Areas: Strong background in developer tooling, CI/CD, productivity enhancement solutions, and practical AI applications in financial services
Nice-to-have :

Leadership: Experience leading development projects and mentoring junior developers

Ability to facilitate between and influence key decision makers

Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses
