You Are: As an AI and Large Language Model Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing the technology architecture for advanced AI (including Large Language Model (LLM)) platform systems and solutions. You will translate business roadmaps into technical requirements and architecture. Your contributions will be instrumental in shaping cutting-edge architectures, frameworks, and methodologies, pushing the boundaries of natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning. You will architect sophisticated LLM-based applications with the ability to process and generate natural language, and integrate and customize LLMs with various business applications.
Your role requires a deep understanding of the evolving Gen AI and Agentic stack, and expertise in leveraging it to build Gen AI-enabled applications and agentic workflows that deliver business value.
Position Responsibilities:
- Architect and design end-to-end Generative AI products, applications, and solutions for specific business needs, providing implementation guidance during delivery.
- Leverage, customize, and implement Gen AI models, algorithms, and methodologies to enhance product and system quality.
- Develop LLM-based applications using open-source frameworks like A2A, MCP, Semantic Kernel, LangChain, Llama Index.
- Adapt LLMs to improve performance, accuracy, and alignment of general-purpose models.
- Develop and integrate LLMs and LLM applications into products and services.
- Implement AI applications that comply with ethical guidelines and legal standards, especially regarding data privacy and user consent.
- Analyze and evaluate the performance of Gen AI systems and provide design recommendations.
- Make informed technological choices for generative AI solutions.
- Design and prototype reusable components for LLM solution patterns.
- Architect components of an LLM solution to address Responsible AI & Security.
- Design LLM Ops solutions for large-scale operationalization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and ensure the language model meets stakeholder needs.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for the language model.
- Utilize transformer architecture to optimize language model performance and efficiency.
- Leverage transformer architectures to process and reshape large data volumes for improved accuracy and versatility.
- Travel may be required for this role.
What you need:
- Minimum of 3 years in AI engineering, machine learning, deep learning, and NLP solutions.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in designing & deploying AI/ML solutions using at least one cloud vendor.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with programming languages and frameworks like Python, JavaScript, Java, Spring, or GoLang, and AI frameworks like Autogen, LangGraph, or Semantic Kernel.
- Minimum 1 year of experience architecting and operationalizing LLM-driven applications.
- Bachelor’s Degree or college diploma in a related field.
- English language proficiency is required for stakeholder interactions across Canada.
Bonus Points if you have:
- Experience in fine-tuning language models, handling multi-modal inputs/outputs.
- Experience with agentic workflows, RAG design patterns, and data pipelines.
- Experience developing applications for mobile and web platforms.
Compensation varies depending on factors like location, role, skills, and experience. For roles in British Columbia, the salary range is $61,800 to $167,000. Benefits information is available here .
