About The Role
We are looking for a Manager to join National Pricing Personal Lines – a team at the heart of the strategy in Corporate PL, focusing on interpretation of results, the production of the indications and the deep understanding of our market trends and market outlook .
This role is positioned under our current Actuarial Director.
What You’ll Do Here

  • Formulate appropriate recommendations after analyzing and interpreting reports produced by actuarial analysts to improve the performance of products and services.
  • Manage the evaluation, development and coaching of members of their group to achieve the strategic objectives of the company.
  • Manage their team’s activities by organizing, planning and controlling the optimal use of human, financial and material resources according to company strategies and budget planning.
  • Manage and provide technical advice to the members of their group responsible for actuarial work and studies (product rating, reserves, financial projections, contribution to regulatory requirements, etc.).
  • Represent the actuarial function in various working groups/committees and act as a point of contact with other business units.

What You Bring To The Table

  • University degree or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
  • Job-specific designation: Mathematics, Actuarial Science, FCAS an asset.
  • Minimum of 7 years including 2 years of coaching (major asset).
  • Strong skills and knowledge of actuarial techniques.

  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
