Base pay range
CA$175,000.00/yr – CA$225,000.00/yr

About The Role
We are looking for a Vice President of Finance to be a member of our senior leadership team and oversee the financial management of our business and develop the foundation for Oxygen8’s continued rapid and profitable growth. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, motivate and manage the finance and accounting team fostering a culture of collaboration, professional development, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the financial month-end and year-end closes and assist with reconciliations when needed.
- Manage the year-end audit and Canadian/US tax returns.
- Work with the CEO on strategy, business case analysis, equity financings, debt facilities and government funding opportunities.
- Provide the management team and the board of directors with the financial reporting and tracking of company Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and KPI dashboards.
- Prepare quarterly board meeting presentations and investor updates.
- Drive business process and ERP system improvement initiatives to increase our efficiencies, capacity, margins and profitability.
