SSR Mining – Seabee Gold Operation is hiring a Supervisor, Exploration .
About Your New Role:
The Supervisor, Exploration reports to the Manager, Exploration-Canada. You will be the primary authority on geology and the geology workforce, contributing your passion and expertise to exploration programs, resource development, and geological modeling. Ensuring compliance with international reporting standards such as JORC and NI 43-101 is essential.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop understanding of geological controls to identify new discovery opportunities.
- Improve resource estimation accuracy.
- Supervise exploration program design and implementation.
- Maintain tenements and joint ventures in good standing.
- Advance resource projects to feasibility stage.
- Oversee proposals, cost estimates, and drilling programs.
- Contribute to Life of Mine and feasibility studies.
- Enhance geological evaluation quality and team competency.
- Advise on exploration strategies and participate in leadership teams.
- Lead QA/QC reviews of geoscience work.
- Network with academic and industry contacts.
- Ensure sample and assay quality control.
- Address sampling, assaying, and database issues promptly.
- Monitor assay performance relative to QA/QC standards.
Your Knowledge and Skills:
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Leapfrog and ArcGIS is an asset.
Your Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Geological Engineering; M.Sc. is an asset.
- 5-10 years of relevant mineral exploration experience.
Working Conditions:
This role involves a varied schedule, including field work on active drilling sites with a 2×2 fly-in/fly-out rotation from Saskatoon, Prince Albert, or La Ronge. Off-season work is Monday to Friday.
