We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story.
We have now completed our pivotal clinical study, and our focus is on regulatory approvals and commercial launch. This is an exciting and significant milestone in our journey to bring this ground-breaking technology to patients.
W e are seeking a strategic and hands-on Mechanical System Team Lead to guide the development of our mechanical systems and manufacturing processes. This is a unique opportunity to lead a talented team in designing and delivering high-performance components and robust manufacturing solutions that support high-volume production.
There are 2 positions available with different project scope s :
Mechanical System Team Lead – Array
Shaft internal components (e.g., hypo tubes, coil tubes, etc.)
Sheath handle , dilator and catheter loaders
Please note, this opportunity is a hybrid work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.
Meaningful work you will be a part of
The Mechanical System Team Lead will report to the Mechanical Engineering Manager and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Automation, Manufacturing Engineering, NPI, and Purchasing. You will be responsible for:
Helping define the strategic technical direction for the project to meet Kardium’s goals.
Leading a team of designers in developing product components from concept through to approval.
Review and approve product component drawings and documentation
Collaborating with automation and MFG ENG teams to develop robust manufacturing tools and processing technologies that enable high throughput and yield.
Review and approve manufacturing tool assembly models and drawings as applicable
Ensuring timely and well-scoped design reviews aligned with project phases.
Overseeing documentation of design notes, including rationale behind key design decisions.
Coordinating with NPI and Manufacturing Engineering teams to ensure timely and complete design
