OneSeven Tech (OST) is seeking an experienced AI Powered Senior UX/UI Designer to join our team. We are looking for a designer who is ready to push the boundaries of what’s possible when human creativity meets artificial intelligence in design!
Your Impact
As an AI-powered UX/UI Designer, you’ll revolutionize user experiences by integrating advanced AI tools, from research to delivery, throughout your design process. Your ability to leverage AI for rapid prototyping, user feedback, and creative exploration will dramatically accelerate design creation while elevating quality. By combining your human creativity with AI capabilities, you’ll pioneer innovative solutions that give our clients a competitive edge in their markets.
About You
You’re a forward-thinking designer with 5+ years of experience who’s genuinely excited about the AI revolution transforming the industry. Beyond your strong foundation in UX/UI principles and tools like Figma, you bring a curiosity about how AI can enhance your work rather than replace it. You thrive in autonomous environments while valuing collaboration, asking insightful questions, and seamlessly balancing AI efficiency with human intuition.
Onboarding
Onboarding will be conducted by video call. We expect a quick onboarding process, enabling you to contribute to projects swiftly after starting. This position is for our Integrated Roles ( ) client, offering a contract-to-full-time opportunity. You’ll be embedded within the client’s team to deliver impactful solutions faster than traditional design processes allow.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working as UX/UI Designer in mobile/web app field
- Enthusiasm for integrating AI tools like Midjourney, DALL-E, ChatGPT, and Claude into your design workflow
- Experience using AI to enhance research, ideation, and design implementation
- Knowledge of how to effectively prompt AI tools to achieve desired design outcomes
- Expert English level (important)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Provide your own workspace with reliable Internet service
- Passionate about the startup environment and eager to learn
- Team player, willing to jump outside of their role to help the greater team
- Ability to research as you work
- Accountable for your own time in a fully remote environment
- Desire to contribute to a growing, dynamic team
- Keen eye for detail and excel in documentation
- Highly organized and proficient in task management
- Independent problem-solver who can understand challenges and run with solutions
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Technical Requirements
- Well-versed in Figma (e.g., Variables, advanced prototyping techniques) and consistently integrate new functionalities into the workflow
- Ability to use AI to quickly iterate designs in response to stakeholder feedback
- Leverage AI for rapid prototyping to quickly translate ideas into interactive concepts
- Experience with After Effects and Illustrator is a plus
- Experience with Framer is a plus
- Adapt swiftly to evolving requirements by iterating and refining designs in response to stakeholder feedback and changing user needs
- Possess in-depth understanding of design systems, including foundational principles and component-based frameworks
- Exhibit rapid prototyping capabilities to quickly translate ideas into interactive and tangible concepts
- Experience working in user experience design/research, interactive design, user interface design, graphic design, branding or a related field
- Values data-driven and research-backed design decisions
- Involvement in the sales process by using AI-assisted rapid mockup generation
- Help the marketing team with occasional graphic design projects or new website pages
- Own the entire design lifecycle from documentation to delivery of high-fidelity designs
- Complete user and competitive research as needed to help influence design concepts and iterate design work
- Engage in usability testing and perform design validation research
- Present your designs with confidence, no matter what stage, and collect actionable feedback for iterating
- Leverage data to make well-thought-out and educated design decisions
- Design mobile and web experiences for various client projects, which spread across different industries and product types
- Be able to work on projects that start from scratch or improve existing applications
Benefits/Compensation
- Location: Toronto, Canada
- Contract-based employment with U.S. company
- Annual Compensation $60k-$70k depending on qualifications and experience

- Fixed working hours 9am-5pm EST time, Monday-Friday
