We are seeking a solutions architect reporting to the head of the solutions architecture department. This role involves defining solution architecture for specific projects, working with business leaders to establish roadmaps, and ensuring solution alignment. You will analyze business requirements to design technological solutions that meet these needs while adhering to enterprise architecture principles within BRP’s current context.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Providing architectural design for enterprise, application, information, and technology domains through solution architecture documents.
- Developing solution architectures for the global services ecosystem and their interfaces with connected systems.
- Implementing and integrating technological solutions for global commerce services, including connectivity with brokers, customs documentation, compliance, import/export documents, and trade laws.
- Designing and managing financial systems architecture, ensuring data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensuring all technological solutions meet legal and regulatory requirements related to global trade and finance.
- Collaborating with organizational units to understand strategic needs and designing information systems accordingly.
- Evaluating costs and preparing cost-benefit analyses for IT solutions, considering infrastructure, licenses, cybersecurity, development, and support.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least ten years of IT experience, with five years in information systems design.
- Deep experience in designing and implementing information solutions, with specialization in key enterprise systems (e.g., global commerce, finance, legal).
- Practical experience with SAP S/4, SAP GTS, SAP ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba.
- Strategic business acumen and ability to align information systems with organizational strategy.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-specialists, including experience with executive stakeholders.
- Team spirit and leadership experience to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills, innovative problem-solving abilities, and solution architecture design skills.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture methodologies like TOGAF with Archimate or similar.
- Bilingual in French and English; English proficiency required for negotiations and global stakeholder interactions.
