Associate, Investments (Toronto):
Our investment teams are organized by geography, responsible for sourcing, executing new investments, and making capital allocation decisions within existing sectors, as well as exploring new sectors.
We are recruiting an Associate, Investments for our Toronto office. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a growing, dynamic team with a successful track record in diverse industries and geographies, emphasizing financial and operational turnaround expertise. The Associate, Investments will play a key role in sourcing, analyzing, and executing investments. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting in identifying and evaluating new investment opportunities;
- Conducting financial modeling and industry/company research;
- Participating in due diligence processes;
- Preparing investment committee materials and transaction documents;
- Monitoring and supporting existing portfolio companies;
- Contributing to a collaborative and positive team environment; and,
- Handling special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- 1-4 years of experience in principal investing, investment banking, restructuring, audit, transaction services, or related fields;
- Proficiency in Excel and strong financial modeling skills;
- Experience with due diligence or raising financing is advantageous.
