Stratacent is seeking an AWS Architect who has developed skills and expertise to help design and build advanced cloud-based solutions, migrate existing workloads to the cloud, and maintain business applications and critical infrastructure inside the AWS Cloud.
Responsibilities :
- Plan, design, develop, optimize, document, and implement cloud data platforms following industry best practices.
- Provide building blocks to help customers implement secure, flexible, and cost-effective data lakes.
- Leverage data lake solutions out-of-the-box or as reference implementations tailored to specific data management, search, and processing needs.
- Use pre-signed Amazon S3 URLs or appropriate AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) roles for controlled access to datasets in Amazon S3.
- Design and develop solutions to enable user sign-in through a SAML identity provider (IdP).
- Work on third-party integrations and lead efforts to leverage technology that improves workflows.
- Advise management on risks and benefits in a clear and concise manner.
Skills Required :
- At least 10 years of experience in IT, including software development or infrastructure.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer/Architect, with skills in designing, migrating, and implementing cloud solutions, including at least one enterprise-scale implementation.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services such as S3, Athena, Glue, or EMR.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- AWS architecture certification is desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Applications, or a related field.
