Program Overview
The Blockchain Development program is a comprehensive, two-semester curriculum designed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of blockchain technology and its applications. This program equips students with the necessary knowledge and practical skills to design and deploy dApps (decentralized applications) utilizing blockchain technology. Core areas of focus include smart contract development, software and business patterns for blockchain, blockchain system development, full stack development, blockchain architecture, security practices, and relevant laws and regulations. In the final semester, students can undertake a co-operative work placement or work-integrated project to gain real-world experience and industry networking opportunities.
Requirements
- Applicants are selected based on academic achievement, including required courses and other criteria.
- Two- or three-year diploma or bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
