Description
Our Client, a Banking company, is looking for a Business Analyst III for their Toronto, ON/ Hybrid location.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and report on Global CCP Portfolio Compressions effectively.
- Reconcile and process payments for Interest Rate Derivative Brokerage and Fees promptly, ensuring correct internal allocation.
- Perform ad hoc bulk action tasks efficiently.
- Post Corporate Action events.
- Resolve ad hoc queries related to Risk / P&L / Funding discrepancies.
- Identify and resolve trade-level cash breaks to manage funding implications.
- Manage various initiatives and ad hoc requests, including infrastructure improvements, regulatory changes, and supporting local business initiatives.
- Leverage relationships to drive initiatives to completion.
- Collaborate with other FIMO teams to support bulk action requests and post-trade lifecycle maintenance.
- Keep Functional and Regional Management informed of relevant issues with proper escalation.
- Maintain a good understanding of financial markets, pricing principles, risk management, and products used by the business.
- Document and update procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Support global stakeholders with ad hoc reporting and data requests.
- Be aware of management reporting lines and escalation procedures.
Requirements:
- Experience in middle office functions (P&L risk, trades).
- Knowledge of Interest Rate Derivatives (IRS, cross currency, futures & options).
- Excellent communication skills, especially when interacting with traders.
- Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation.
- Experience with Calypso.
- Knowledge of corporate actions and bonds.
- Experience with compression techniques.
- Proficiency in Power BI for creating dashboards.
