Responsibilities:
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and conduct process walkthroughs.
- Identify goals and pain points through gap analysis on current state and future state business processes.
- Create, review, and update user stories, personas, and journey maps, as applicable.
- Create system use cases, flow diagrams, and interactive mock-ups outlining functional requirements, as required.
- Document and validate results with subject matter experts and drive the creation of detailed business and functional requirements specification documents.
- Support development of necessary system (non-technical) documentation as well as make recommendations for policy and/or procedural manuals.
- Support change management and training to ensure delivery of complex program changes.
- Conduct post implementation reviews, assessing opportunities for backlog refinement and continuous improvement.
- Liaise with security and privacy teams to complete security threat risk assessments and privacy impact assessments, as required.
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and status reporting, as required.
Requirement/Must Have:
- Experience documenting user requirements, business processes, and workflows. Minimum 5 years.
- Experience gathering requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases or scenarios, business analysis, and business process modeling. Minimum 5 years.
- Experience in a leadership and/or facilitation role. Minimum 3 years.
- Experience working within an agile development environment. Minimum 3 years.
Should Have/Nice to Have:
- Active professional certification or accreditation in a related discipline from a recognized issuing body.
- Experience evaluating policies, programs, and initiatives using program development principles. Minimum 3 years.
- Experience in gathering requirements from a diverse group of stakeholders across ministries or departments. Minimum 3 years.
- Experience using analytical and problem-solving skills to plan and design creative solutions. Minimum 3 years.
- Experience with business writing, communication, and documentation. Minimum 3 years.
- Experience with change management. Minimum 3 years.
Skills:
- Understanding of Agile framework (SCRUM) through demonstrated experience.
- Results-driven mindset with the ability to function independently, while engaging stakeholders and team members.
- Thorough understanding and experience using an Agile/Hybrid approach.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA.
- Knowledge of and ability to apply and interpret complex legislations, regulations, policies, and standards.
Qualification And Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Equipment Requirements:
- Candidate must provide their own computer and related equipment.
- The computer’s operating system must be a modern version of Windows or MacOS compatible with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and related software for remote access.
Mandatory Training Courses:
- Candidate must complete all mandatory training, including but not limited to Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and Security Awareness training.
