Our Client, a Banking company, is looking for a Business Intelligence Developer III for their Toronto, ON / Hybrid location.
Responsibilities:
- Redesign and migrate existing Tableau dashboards to meet accessibility standards, including color contrast, keyboard navigation, and screen reader compatibility.
- Develop intuitive, performant, and inclusive dashboards optimized for diverse user groups and devices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into accessible visual solutions.
- Implement best practices in data visualization, layout, and interactivity while ensuring compliance with accessibility.
- Maintain and enhance BI assets, ensuring usability for all users, including those with assistive technologies.
- Work with large, complex datasets using SQL, Databricks, and PySpark; apply ETL processes and star-schema modeling.
- Provide value-added insights through analysis, interpretation, and recommendations.
- Document accessibility standards and BI processes for ongoing governance and compliance.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience Tableau expertise
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with Accessibility within Tableau (dashboard design and remediation)
- Strong skills in Databricks, PySpark, and handling large datasets
- Previous experience in disability and inclusion projects (accessibility)
- Team player/collaborative, strong communication skills, someone who can work in a fast pace environment with tight deadlines
- Experience in banking or financial Services
