Our reputable Ottawa-based client has an immediate requirement for several Intermediate and Senior C++ Software Developers. This is a great opportunity to be part of a well-established organization embarking on multiple long-term strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have recent, hands-on C++ development experience, ideally working on mission-critical systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide system life-cycle support for operational and non-operational systems.
- Assist in requirements analysis, specification writing, and management.
- Develop and implement software solutions for new requirements and deficiencies.
- Research, evaluate, and troubleshoot applications based on technical information.
- Maintain the software development environment.
About You:
- Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, systems engineering, or related fields.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing applications utilizing C/C++ in Linux environments.
- Knowledge of Golang and JavaScript is an asset.
- Experience with multi-core, multi-threaded programming, and server-class machines.
- Experience in signal processing, defense, mission-critical systems, EW, real-time, embedded systems, algorithms, network programming, or system integration is a plus.
- Ability to work onsite and be eligible for Secret and/or Controlled Goods clearance.
Job Details:
- 100% onsite.
- 6 to 12-month contract.
- Open to intermediate and senior developers.
