Role Overview
We are seeking a Technology, SaaS/Cloud Lawyer to work with some of the world’s largest companies across various industries. This role offers the opportunity to address complex legal challenges on a global scale.
Responsibilities:
- Provide practical legal advice and support on international business matters in a fast-paced environment.
- Advise business clients directly and provide guidance on corporate policies.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and business partners.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 8+ PQE with experience drafting and negotiating technology contracts including SaaS, Cloud, Software Licensing, and Confidentiality agreements.
- Experience in the SaaS industry and working independently and cross-functionally.
- Proficiency in negotiating MSAs, NDAs, order forms, DPA’s, and vendor agreements.
- Experience managing complex projects and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Called to Bar in Ontario.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with internet, social media, e-commerce, and online consumer platforms.
- Background advising on product development, consumer protection, privacy, data security, and internet law.
- Experience with consumer protection issues, the Communications Decency Act, and E-Commerce Directive.
