Description
- Analyze business requirement documents and liaise with clients.
- Facilitate IT development, design, construction, testing, promotion, and implementation of web-based/n-tier, cloud-based, and mainframe applications.
- Define standards for enterprise data integration and governance.
- Design metadata management programs and scripts.
- Define and evaluate BI solution architectures (conceptual, logical, physical).
- Design healthcare business information structures (cubes, dimensions, facts, tables).
- Perform data quality assessments, transformations, and cleansing.
- Develop test scripts and perform testing of BI solutions.
- Responsible for Java-based development using WebSphere, JDBC, Oracle, DB2, DataPower, and related web technologies including JavaScript and JSP.
- Integrate open source software products into systems.
- Create and review system response documents, technical specifications, application inventories, and implementation plans.
- Prepare test plans, test data, and conduct unit testing.
- Develop implementation plans and promote modules.
- Provide system support and documentation.
- Respond to client queries and troubleshoot production incidents.
- Participate in design walkthroughs, test case reviews, and testing.
- Support testing activities by team members.
- Report weekly on project status, progress, and issues as directed.
Skills
Technical Skills (45%)
- 5+ years of business intelligence experience.
- 5+ years of Cognos experience, including Framework Manager and Report Studio.
- Experience with Active Reports, Transformer, dashboards, and Metrics Studio.
- Data analysis expertise.
- IBM certifications in Cognos BI Reports, Metadata Models, and Administration.
- Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops.
- Experience with deployment tools like Jenkins.
- Knowledge of development methodologies (Agile, DevOps, Waterfall).
- Experience with various platforms, databases, and web services.
- Ability to design modular, maintainable programs.
- Proficiency with relational databases (DB2, Oracle, MS-SQL).
Analytical Skills (35%)
