My client’s independent, director-led Accountancy practice works with business owners and directors at every stage of their business lives: from start-up, through growth, consolidation, succession and exit. They also advise on personal financial and tax planning to help clients achieve peace of mind for themselves and their families. Purpose To be a key member of the Commercial team. The Commercial Manager manages a client portfolio, delivers assignments, ensures compliance, and develops junior staff. Responsibilities • Manage a portfolio of accounts clients • Plan, manage, and review assignments • Complete analytical and peer reviews • Supervise and coach junior staff • Set budgets, plan staffing, and monitor deadlines • Take full responsibility for engagements • Manage client meetings, timescales, fees, and billing • Build strong client and introducer relationships • Work with Client Directors and colleagues across the firm • Support compliance and regulatory administration Requirements • ACA or ACCA qualified (minimum 2 years PQE) • Experience managing a client portfolio in practice • Strong commercial focus • Excellent organisational skills • Staff supervision and coaching experience • Clear and confident communicator • Supportive and collaborative team player • Committed to learning and self-improvement Benefits • Friendly and supportive environment • Flexible working hours • Generous holiday allowance + option to buy more • Comprehensive training with funded study support • Regular socials and events • Online art classes • Cycle to Work Scheme • Employee Assistance Programme • Free fruit and snacks Should you have any questions or wish to apply please do not hesitate to contact Clear IT Recruitment Limited.
