Overview

The Audit Technologies group is part of the support team for the National Audit Center. It is responsible for implementing new technologies within Audit and providing digital and data analytics services to our clients. The team works within a multidisciplinary environment to deliver exclusive data analysis solutions for KPMG and external clients, and provides ongoing support.
The Data Consultant will participate in automating key operational processes using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate. The role also involves supporting customer service teams with data analysis, visualization, and reporting to deliver innovative solutions to clients.
Responsibilities
- Automate key operational processes using Power Apps and Power Automate workflows.
- Identify issues, propose recommendations, opportunities, and mitigation strategies to project teams.
- Work with unique data analysis programs to provide innovative solutions.
- Handle large volumes of client data, importing into proprietary KPMG applications following ETL processes.
- Build lasting business relationships with client teams through project activities and professional networking.
- Support business development by identifying new opportunities and assisting in proposal preparations.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with non-technical professionals.
- Create and implement customized data analysis routines for clients.
Qualifications
Mandatory
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Database Management, Programming, or similar fields.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Strong understanding of statistics and mathematical fundamentals.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written); ability to work with multiple stakeholders, prioritize, and manage expectations.
- Proactive problem-solving skills; innovative and resourceful approach.
- Time management skills and high organizational ability.
- Knowledge of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tools and functionalities.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Preferred
- Experience with Azure Databricks data management processes.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Power Query, Python, and R.
- Experience with databases like SQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc.
- Experience with SQL scripting, API creation, and debugging.
This position requires strong English language skills. The selected candidate may support or collaborate with English-speaking colleagues and stakeholders, and may need to interpret and apply policies, practices, laws, and regulations in their duties.
