Your role within the team
As a member of the Toronto office’s Contract Administration team, you will:

Be r esponsible for c ontract a dministration of civil and highway construction projects .

S upervise and direct field staff working on the project .
-
Regularly liaise with clients on progress of construction .
-
Monitor contractor work for compliance with contract specifications and applicable safety and environmental legislation .

Use of the Ministry of Transportation Contract Management System (CMS) on MTO assignments
-
Men tor junior team members on the various facets of site inspection .

The ideal candidate:
-
Holds a College Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent
-
Is r egistered and in good standing with PEO or OACETT as a C.E.T., C. Tech with RCSI or RCCA designation or EIT, P.Eng.
-
Has a minimum of 10 years ’ relevant experience .
-
H a s successfully completed MTO T131 Advanced Claims and Dispute Resolution Training Course and/or applicable refresher .

Is proficient in English (spoken and written).

Has a valid Ontario driver’s license class G with a good driving record, and access to a vehicle.
