Exigences/Requirements: Expérience pertinente de gestion d’un grand ensemble. Habiletés de leadership dans le domaine des grands groupes. Organisé. L’expérience d’ensignement et le bilinguisme seront considérés un atout. / Experience in the administration functions for a large ensemble. Leadership skills in large group settings. Very good organizational skills. Teaching experience and bilingualism are an asset.
Responsable du bon fonctionnement des opérations de l’Harmonie. Gère toutes les communications et sert de liaison entre le chef d’orchestre, le personnel administratif de l’École de musique et les musiciens de l’Harmonie. Assure la mise en place et le rangement de chaises et des lutrins dans la salle de répétition afin que l’espace soit disponible pour les musiciens 30 minutes à l’avance de la répétition ainsi que la création et la gestion de la liste de courriels des membres de l’Harmonie. En observant les directive du directeur de l’Harmonie de l’Univeristé d’Ottawa, le candidat assurera la distribution des parties aux sections, s’acquittera de faire les copies nécessaires, et fera la collecte et triage des parties suivant les concerts. Le candidat doit suivre le système établi de classification des donnés afin de correctement assurer l’assignation et la remise des partitions. De plus, la participation aux répétitions et aux concerts sera requise dans la majorité des cas. / Responsible for running the operations of the Wind Ensemble. Manage all communications and liaise with the Music Director, the School of Music administration and the Ensemble personnel. Ensure the set-up and tear-down of the rehearsal space so it is fully prepared and open to musicians 30 minutes prior to rehearsals, as well as the creation and management of an email data base of the members of the Ensemble. In accordance with the Conductor’s guidelines, will distribute parts to sections of the Wind Ensemble, make copies as necessary, collect and re-sort the music after each concert. Must work within existing record keeping system to accurately record assignment and collection of parts. In addition, participation in rehearsals and concerts will be required in most cases.
