We are seeking a seasoned Data Warehouse ETL Developer with 8–10 years of experience in enterprise data warehousing and ETL development.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Teradata, SQL, and UNIX environments, along with strong documentation, troubleshooting, and release management skills.
This role involves supporting data integration, scheduling, and operational reliability across complex systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, and document ETL code for enterprise data warehouse systems.
- Work with Teradata and Oracle databases to build efficient and scalable ETL solutions.
- Document ETL logic and workflow processing in accordance with organizational standards.
- Participate in full systems development lifecycle and release management processes.
- Provide 24×7 on-call support for data loads and incident resolution, ensuring SLA compliance.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and vice versa.
- Work independently to manage multiple assignments and deliverables.
- Design and maintain Tivoli Workload Schedulers for job automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and system performance.
- Update management on project status and escalate issues as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 8–10 years of experience in enterprise data warehouse ETL development.
- 8–10 years of experience with Teradata and SQL (Oracle or Teradata).
- Strong experience with UNIX environments.
- 5–8 years of experience designing and maintaining Tivoli Workload Schedulers.
- Proven ability to work independently and within virtual teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Experience in documenting and translating business and technical requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in rental car business or similar industry.
- Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
- Ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical users.
- Demonstrated innovation and continuous learning.
- Experience interacting with business users, IT teams, vendors, and customers.
