Pay Rate: $35 Location: Toronto ON Job Type: Contract Our client, a top banking client in Canada is looking to hireDerivatives Analyst – I for their team with a contract for12 Months with potential conversion to Permanent depending on performance. Hybrid – 3 days per week (must be Tues-Thurs) in Toronto Office.
Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week. OT – possibility
Job Description:
The Derivatives Onboarding Specialist will report to the Manager of Derivatives Onboarding within the Global Derivatives Services team. The Derivatives Onboarding team supports the Asset Management and Life Insurance businesses globally by performing all setup steps necessary for derivatives trading. This role will be accountable for the execution of a best-practices in onboarding and broker relationship management in support of the organization’s exchange-traded, over-the-counter and centrally-cleared derivative requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will be organized, detail-oriented and highly professional with excellent verbal and written communication skills. The candidate will have a combination of derivatives industry experience, relationship management skills, and practical business knowledge.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct the derivatives onboarding functions for new accounts and new brokers.
- Manage derivatives trading operational readiness within the Global Derivatives Services team including middle office, operations and collateral management.
- Support Traders need for the best execution by setting up the full range of desired derivatives brokers.
- Coordinate with Legal Services to ensure that proper legal agreements are put in place to support derivatives trading.
