The DevOps Engineer is responsible for the design, development, testing, automation, and operation of the infrastructure supporting the company’s solutions, as well as the development processes by which those solutions are engineered. DevOps Engineers will collaborate with other engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions to clients.
- Develop infrastructure in accordance with standards and practices.
- Work with architects to gather requirements and design solutions for new projects.
- Streamline and automate IT operations and processes.
- Work with engineering teams to create development processes for new projects.
- Identify, prescribe solutions, and implement remediation as required by InfoSec findings.
- Plan and organize Agile ceremonies (sprints, standups, etc.) for the DevOps team.
- Advise and mentor engineers across teams, promoting tools, technologies, patterns, and practices.
- Maintain infrastructure, repair bugs, and respond to downtime in accordance with business continuity plans.
- Provide support for software engineering teams.
- Conduct all business in accordance with policies and procedures.
- All other duties as assigned.
Experience: 8-11 years of relevant experience.
This position can be located in Toronto and offers a hybrid work environment (at least 2 days a week in the office, subject to change), providing flexibility for qualified candidates.
