Location: Sherbrooke | Trois-Rivières | Montréal | Longueuil | Québec
Within the Environmental Characterization and Rehabilitation team, as Technical Director, your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a peer reviewer for files managed by the Environmental Characterization and Rehabilitation department, assigned by the Director;
- Managing some larger framework agreements across regions;
- Serving as a senior professional in various projects and meetings with major clients and internal teams, in a multidisciplinary project context;
- Ensuring the success of assigned mandates from planning to billing;
- Evaluating the applicability of various rehabilitation technologies and solutions;
- Developing markets for the Environmental Characterization and Rehabilitation department in Canada (Quebec, Nord-du-Québec, Ontario, Labrador, Eastern provinces) and setting objectives with the Director for mandate acquisition per year;
- Assisting the Director in the technical supervision of teams regarding standards, norms, and methods;
- Participating in training future experts in your field;
- Providing expertise in establishing and implementing procedures and work instructions in your domain;
- Advising the Service Director on corrective actions to resolve client complaints, ensuring deadlines are met, and verifying the effectiveness of solutions;
- Leading projects, project charges, and providing technical support within your expertise;
- Participating in and managing technical and financial proposals, including those assigned by the Director.
Your profile includes:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil, geological, mining engineering, or relevant field;
- Minimum 10 years of experience in characterization;
- Member of OIQ with a Professional Engineer license for at least 10 years;
- Member of the Ontario Association of Professional Engineers (an asset);
- EESA Certification (an asset);
- Good knowledge of MS Office suite;
- Excellent spoken and written French skills;
- Bilingualism;
- Experience in business development;
- Commitment to obtaining the Construction ASP Card;
- Valid driver’s license and access to a car.
