The Opportunity
Join Hitachi Energy’s global HSE and Sustainability community to ensure safe working conditions and promote a healthy workplace. As the HSE and Sustainability Lead, you’ll drive strategic programs, support customer journeys towards climate and circularity, and provide expert advice and leadership.

How You’ll Make an Impact
- Collaborate on strategic direction with the HUB HSE and Sustainability Manager.
- Ensure compliance with the HSE annual operating plan.
- Drive legal compliance and conformity.
- Promote a high-performance culture through strong leadership.
- Act as a change management agent and Technical Authority.
- Manage risk effectively with specialist knowledge.
- Report environmental data and HSE incidents accurately.
- Lead investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Foster continuous improvement in HSE performance.
- Promote Hitachi Energy’s HSE and Sustainability culture.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
- Engineering degree or Bachelor’s degree in HSE required.
- 10+ years of HSE experience in high-risk industries.
- Expertise in risk assessment and high-risk activities management.
- Experience in leading HSE projects and implementing solutions.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Fluency in English; other languages are a plus.
