PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The Director Corporate Reporting leads a team that is responsible for month end close and consolidation of financial results, management reporting of consolidated results analysis, external financial reporting and legal entity compliance reporting, and managing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. This position is based out of our corporate headquaters in Calgary, AB.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Oversee monthly close and consolidation
- Oversee preparation of external consolidated financial reports of CPKC on Forms 8-K/10-Q/10-K
- Review entity financial statements and oversee subsidiary audit for tax and regulatory compliance purpose
- Oversee delegation of Journal Entry Procedure policy and ensure period journal entry testing procedure are followed for control purpose
