CA$70,000.00/yr – CA$80,000.00/yr
We’re seeking a Revenue Manager to lead our outside resort and street sales teams. This role will focus on delivering consistent, scalable revenue growth aligned with our strategic goals. The Revenue Manager will develop and implement sales strategies, manage team performance and accountability systems, strengthen key community and in-resort relationships, and align offerings and pricing with our desired clientele. Your work ensures that every guest, partner, and team member experience drives our mission forward. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, excellent communication skills, and a strategic mindset. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and implement revenue strategies across businesses in the Gibbons portfolio.
- Manage and implement sales strategies which align with the Gibbons brand vision.
- Drive outbound sales initiatives to generate new business opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategies for upselling and cross-selling (Supporting our G-Wheeling commitments).
- Create and lead targeted outreach strategies, focusing on key segments: universities, corporate groups, and weddings.
- Ensure a seamless transition from revenue teams to guest experience, converting leads into successful bookings, building trust and consistency in the customer journey.
- Partner with the Offering Manager to align sales with desired clientele and brand strategy.
- Collaborate with the Pricing Manager to optimize profit across all SKUs.
- Provide comprehensive training and support to two revenue teams – outbound and street sales.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with other departments to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate sales performance against targets.
- Make adjustments and recommendations to optimize sales processes and drive revenue growth.
- Maintain relationships with key community partners using a shared digital rolodex.
- Facilitate and track meetings between Gibbons managers and their counterparts across the community and industry.
- Deliver performance reviews and coaching to direct reports.
- Show up as a hands-on, active leader with the potential to work weekends.
Qualifications, Experience, Skills And Abilities
- Proven success in sales leadership roles
- Leadership skills with experience in coaching and developing sales teams
- Strong AI capabilities
- Experience driving group bookings and outbound sales activity
- Ability to deliver effective training on upselling and cross-selling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends
- Strategic thinker capable of developing and implementing revenue-generating strategies
- Proven ability to exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Proven experience in revenue management, sales strategy, or business development
- Experience in hospitality, tourism, or events is an asset.
This role is eligible for commission earnings in addition to the listed range.
